This isn’t our usual kind of post, but it’s one worth sharing ✨

Ask any small business owner and they’ll tell you - building a business while wearing every hat is no easy feat. There are the wins, the doubts, the late nights, the constant learning, and plenty of moments where you question whether you’re doing any of it right.

That’s why spaces like this matter.

To sit at the table with 900 wahine business owners is incredibly powerful.
The conversations are real and raw. And the reminder that you’re not doing this alone is invaluable.
The calibre of wahine who took the stage, openly sharing their journeys, challenges, lessons and successes, was both inspiring and refreshing (plus I got to meet one of my idols Dame Valerie Adams 🫶)

I was incredibly honoured to stand alongside our sisters from Amotai Hinemoana crew, sharing kōrero, experiences, the highs, the lows and everything in between 💙

The biggest takeaway? Be unapologetically you!
Serve what feeds your soul.
Keep showing up when it gets hard. And above all, stay true to your kaupapa.

Because people don’t just connect with businesses - they connect with the people, the story and the purpose behind them.

The road to building something of your own isn’t always easy, but being surrounded by the right people, the right energy and the right mindset can remind you just how much is possible 🙌

So to anyone out there who’s on this journey - Keep going. Keep learning. Keep backing yourself. And never lose sight of why you started. ✨

Our Classroom💧🫧
5 day Scuba Explorers program with our rangatahi from Whakarewarewa School is always a highlight for us each term 👌🌊

We swam, laughed, successfully mastered the foundations of scuba, ate, walked, did manus, used teamwork, kaitiakitanga, learnt new skills and had a lot of fun along the way 🤿

Watching these young explorers thrive is our greatest joy 🌱

We’re heading back again for Stage 3 of clearing the invasive lake w**d, starting from the top and working our way down to restore our beautiful Hamurana Springs.
