Easter Extravaganza in the valley we had some good racing and for a change managed to not break the car to much coming away with one flat tyre .

Night one we finished 7th overall with grid 22 for the first race finishing up 19th after getting tangled and a flat left front , 5th place from grid 7 and 9th from grid 17 in the final race

Night two we finished up 14th overall we started the first race grid 3 but misread the track conditions and couldn’t get any drive finishing up 9th place , our second race we started grid 21 after making a few adjustments to the setup we picked up a few positions finishing up 15th , race three we started grid 15 we had a pretty good race running in 8th place most of the race but started misfiring on the last lap finishing up 9th place .

Overall it’s been our best Easter champs meeting yet having minimal damage finishing all 6 races and driving on the trailer .

Decent nights racing at our home track coming away 9th overall with no damage.

Race one we started P24 picking up a few spots finishing 16th

Race two we started P12 finishing up 12th

Race three we started P3 after a very bouncy ride we finished up 6th

The track conditions were trying but grateful to get a run this weekend after the weather this week .

We had big plans for the weekend but the weather changed that . After Rotorua raining out on Friday night and Auckland cancelling their meeting early due to the poor forecast so we made the jump over the hill to baypark speedway .

Race one we started p12 picking up a few places and feeling out the track finishing up 9th

Race two we made a few setup changes and started p24 having a pretty good race finishing up 13th

Race three we wanted to have some fun . Starting p2 we turned a few laps before taking a car to the wall then getting abit of attention from the locals we got in the way of a few cars slowed a few up and definitely put the car through its paces finishing up 11th.

After what felt like forever we finally got back out on track . We ventured to McDonald's Kihikihi Speedway and ran as a support class for the TQ Midget Grand Prix & Waipa Midget Champs .

Race one we started P14 staying outve trouble we finished up 11th

Race two we made a setup change and started P4 after a good jump we managed to lead for the first couple laps before getting tagged coming into the corner and loosing a couple positions as well as loosing brakes we managed to finish up 5th .

Unfortunately that was the end of our night as our last race was cancelled due to time restrictions.

31st of Jan we ventured up to Waikaraka speedway .

Race one we drew grid 6 we had a reasonable good start . Having not raced on the new track we took it easy learning the different lines . Finishing up 13th . Unfortunately as we went to exit the track we lost the clutch . After attempting to repair we found that it was something we would be unable to fix at the track . Not the results we had hoped for as the new track surface feels fast and a lot of fun but that’s racing .

NI Champs Tier 2

Race one we started p17 . We managed to get a good start and got up to 11th place but then getting caught up in the carnage dropped back to p15 to finish .

Race 2 we started p2 after a terrible start getting no traction we dropped back half of the pack and fought to catch up getting up to 8th before getting turned around on the last lap finishing in 12th place .

Race 3 we started of the back on p27 . We picked up a few places as we avoided the carnage finishing up in p13

This landed us 13th overall for tier 2 not quite the results we had hoped for but it was a great meeting and good fun turning laps with no major damage

NI Champs 25/26
Night one we got soaked before the meeting kicked off and they decided to call the meeting off pushing us over to Sunday where we tried again this time the weather played ball and we managed to get a great nights racing

Race one we got grid 17 getting a good jump on the start we made up a few positions but unfortunately getting caught up with a spun car and having the rear brake jam we dropped off a few more places to finish up in 12th

Race two we started grid 7 we were running well trying to keep clean but with disconnecting the rear brake from the first races incident we got caught up with an out of town car putting us a lap down so we through we’d have some fun finishing up 16th

Race three we started grid 7 again with the track hooking up it’s was some hard and fast racing finishing up 10th

The nights race results put us in 11th overall in our group .

Unfortunately this meant we didn’t qualify for the finals but never the less it was an awesome meeting and happy with how the car is performing.

5th of December we were back at Rotorua Speedway for our trophy/club night .

Race one we started p8 after a good start we were feeling out the track and got tangled up with club mate finishing p11

Race 2 we started p25 we stayed clean and had a good race picking up a some places to finish in 15th

Race 3 we stared p2 we managed to hold onto p2 for half the race but we decided to have abit of fun with an out of town car . Unfortunately we had abit to much fun and got slapped with an over aggressive attacking stand down . Unfortunately that means no racing for 22 days but on the plus side the stand down ends just in time to compete in the north island champs .

It was a great meeting and we will be back before we know it .

Triple The Triples we paired up with 988r Dion and 22R Les

Race one we started p26 , we stayed outve trouble and picked up a few places to finished up in 10th place

Race two we started p2 with a fairly good start we turned laps to stay clean and pickup points finishing up in 9th place . With Dion , Les and our points combined we qualified 4th for the feature .

Because of it being the triples meeting we got to pick our starting positions between the three of us . We decided to have Dion start on p4 , Les on p14 and myself off p22 . Unfortunately Dion blew his diff resulting in a dnf , Les and myself came under abit of attention . Les finished up in 14th place and I finished up in 20th place .

Not quite the results we hoped for but was super fun meeting as always .
