This is the plan for Sunday team 🔵⚫️
Another big shout out to our MVP’s Brownie, Paulette and the staff at the Empire for all they do 👏🏼👏🏼

The legends from the Empire Hotel are again catering the after match this weekend, being held in the Hari Hari Community Hall.

The aftermatch will kick off at around 5:15pm and the meal price is $10 a head.

Woodham Shield 2025 💙🖤

What a great weekend in Ross. A few thank you’s that are owed to the great people in our community.

Paulette and Brownie and the staff st the Empire Hotel. The heart and home of our community 🏠 they always go above and beyond to help out events in the town. From sponsoring the food at the sausage sizzle, to hosting and providing the after match. And not to mention providing showers for the 3 traveling netball teams.

Janae and Mitch - sponsoring our beautiful new netball uniforms.

Tayne and Jackson - donating the venison for the popular venison buns. 😋

Craig Foster - butchering, marinading, and cooking the venison throughout the day.

BRM and The Empire Hotel - sponsorship.💰

Salena - donating the market day profits to our club.

Lisa and Lisa - organizing the netball court. Repainting the lines (by hand!), trimming back the trees and just making sure the court was clean and ready to go.

Peter and Johnny - tidying up the muddy carpark and laying gravel.

Robbie - being our auctioneer on the night.

Referees and touchies and umpires.

The countless volunteers who manned the bake stall and everyone who donated baking.

No one on this list expects a thank you or recognition but without them, events like this weekend wouldn’t be the same. So thank you all very much 💙

Also a thank you to the Rugby and Netball Committee for merging and bringing this weekend to life and the community for decorating our town and making it a great day of sport.
It’s hard to get everyone, so if anyone has been missed - consider yourself thanked 👏

WHATS ON THE MENU? 🍴

🍔 Foster’s famous marinated venison & coleslaw bun $7

🌭 Sausage and Bread. Onions and all your favourite sauces. $3

🍰🧁🍪 An assortment of baking from $2

🥤 Cans of Coke, Sprite or L&P. $2

You will find us down on the sideline at the rugby field from about 10:30am 🏈

11:00am - Ross vs Whataroa

Rugby down at the Ross Domain 🏈

12:30pm - Fox, Franz, Haast vs Hari Hari

2:30pm - Ross vs Whataroa

During the day we will have a bbq, bake sale and soft drinks for sale down at the Ross Field so please bring your coins to support our club💰💰 stay tuned for more on this.

The day will wrap up with an aftermatch at the Empire Hotel thanks to Brownie and Paulette 🏅
