Well that’s a wrap from the ITM 400 Taupo Supercars event !
Our little team has had an incredibly successful season, with multiple wins here in New Zealand and over the “dutch” in Australia.
Very proud to have finally won the Napa Central Muscle cars title, after many years of near misses 😊 and to bring the Touring Car Masters Trans-Tasman Cup home for the first time.
It really is a team effort, and I would like to sincerely thank all those involved with the many aspects of putting a campaign like this together
The J. A. Russell Mustang Ltd has attracted fans new and old from both sides of the Tasman, posters adorn many mancaves and kids rooms, shirts and Jackets worn with pride, smiles and stories for miles
It was cool to end the season on a high at a Supercars event, albeit a shortened one ! The TV coverage and crowd numbers were generally very good, and it was great to see many loyal and new faces as the season went on
I do plan on a little break now from racing, but there are more exciting opportunities coming up fast so as they say “no rest for the wicked” 😉
As winter approaches I wish you all the best in your business and personal endeavours, and am reminded of an old saying “We are only here once, so make the most of today”
