Tomorrow is our Annual Memorial Ride.
It is a social ride to remember club members who have passed away. This year is especially poignant with the passing of our Club Patron, Malcolm Saunders He was a stalwart of the club since it's inception in 1989 and involved with Tasman cycling before that.
We will assemble at Faulkners Bush, Wakefield around 9:30 am for a 10:00 am start. It is a "no drop" ride with stops at intervals to allow everyone to group up again.
Ritchie Howes will be the ride leader and we will be going over Spooners Saddle, left into Valley Rd and left again to travel over Reay Saddle before turning into 88 Valley Rd back to Wakefield. Approx. 54 kms.
After the ride we will provide some food and refreshments at the Little Sprig, Wakefield. We look forward to seeing you there.

Spring has sprung! The lambs are gambolling. The daffodils are shining.
Time to oil and grease your bikes for the Spring Season starting next Saturday 27th.
The race calendar has been prepared and a copy is available on the club website. Check to see where and when you are down to help the races get underway.

A great way to finish the Winter Points Series racing. Excellent weather, if you can excuse a tough head wind going out SH6 from Wakefield. But the tail wind down 88 Valley made up for it. Results are in:https://www.tasmanwheelers.co.nz/_files/ugd/4c95da_8b0c6660658e485792db3716fb2fe63d.pdf
Thanks to the officials on the day - Symon as race manager and Paul Kircher and Lyn Richardson for signs.
Afters were held at the Little Sprig at Wakefield where President Peter King handed out prizes to the place-getters.

It's here! The last race of the Winter Points Series.
A handicap race of 1 lap around SH6-Waiiti-88 Valley.
Registration from 12.15 pm at the Faulkner Bush Scenic Reserve. Parking may be restricted on the reserve itself.
Prize-giving afterwards will be held at the Sprig & Fern, Wakefield.
The weather is looking good.

HELP REQUIRED.
Felix Laufkotter has been updating Trevor's old bike for loaning out to junior riders. He just needs some brake calipers to finish it off. Any brand will do. Do you have some sitting around doing nothing? Let us know if you do.
