Get ready for a blast at the first Sprig + Fern 10k Series this Saturday 20th June in Mapua. Registration and check-in are at the back of the Mapua Community Hall, and don’t be late, as check-in opens at 1.20pm and closes 2pm sharp🤙

We’ve got different start times for early walkers, fast walkers and slower runners and the speedsters, so make sure you know when to rock up! Oh, and one more thing , you’ll need a Webscorer race number, so if you don’t have one, get on the Waimea Harriers website (https://www.waimeaharriers.nz ) and sign up, pronto, and for more information on this event! The event is free for school kids, youth students and Waimea Harriers, but for everyone else it’s $10, payable on the day. After you’ve finished, head on up to the Sprig + Fern Mapua for a chance to score a sweet spot prize. See you there!! 😇

Wednesday Social Run/Walk is just around the corner. Meet tomorrow night at the Club Waimea Carpark at 5.30pm for another casual jog/stroll around the Meadows/Berryfields area. Includes 45 minutes of moderate exercise and don’t forget to wear visible attire so you don’t get lost in the dark. Everyone is welcome, no matter how slow🙏. No official timing or race numbers needed, because let’s face it, we’re not exactly Olympic material - or are we joking? 🙃.

Afterwards, stumble into the Club for some well-deserved refreshments and socialising🥰🤩.

It’s time to get this party started with fine weather and good times at the Wednesday Social Run/Walk tomorrow night, June 3rd🥉.

Meet at 5.30pm in the Club Waimea Carpark for a ridiculously fun run/walk around the Meadows/Berryfields area. Enjoy 45 minutes of fresh air, exercise, and trying not to trip over your own feet. Don’t forget to wear visible attire, unless you want to play a real-life game of hide and seek 🙈.

Everyone is welcome, no official timing, no race numbers - just like the good old days. We’ll gather afterwards at Club Waimea for socialising, refreshments, and probably some tall tales about our athletic prowess. See you there! 🤩🤩.

Meet at the Club Waimea Carpark at 5:30pm for a rejuvenating run or walk around the picturesque Meadows/Berryfields area. Spend approximately 45 minutes soaking up the fresh air🤙Wear bright colours to shine and be seen. Everyone is warmly welcomed to participate, regardless of pace or fitness level. There's no entry fee, no official timing, and no pressure. Afterwards, gather at Club Waimea for a chat and your choice of refreshments, a perfect way to unwind and connect with like-minded individuals🙏

Rough Island Social Run/Walk on tomorrow Sat, 23rd May. There will be a variety of trail options with loops between 2km and 10km because we know some of you are crazy and others not so much!🤸‍♂️

Meet on Rough Island just before the causeway onto Rabbit Island for a 2.30pm start (go past the Tic Toc Road entrance), don't worry you won't get lost... probably). Everyone starts together - run or walk at your own pace, we won't judge you. A free event for all - all abilities are welcome, yes that means you. No race numbers, timing or registration, because who needs that kind of stress? 😊

Meet afterwards at Club Waimea in Richmond for a social get together 💃
