Razorbacks Whanau would like to extend our love to Uncle Tihi, our cousins + mokos for the loss of our Aunty Norma Barnes.

TOUGH and STAUNCH as they come, harder then nails, soften only by her unconditional love for family+mokos.

Leader of the pack, BARNES name infamous in grassroots rugby league. There will be many a story told which feature your name, tough and hard will be words commonly used, equally astute at coaching, mentoring and nurturing players both 🏉 and netball.

Many doors within BOPRL were opened when Razorbacks re-entered league comp after 18yr hiatus because of your presence, Especially Pikiao Rugby League Club 🖤🤍.

In tandem with Uncle Tihi, Coaching Senior Men’s, sponsoring, strapping, running water & growling’s, much closer to your heart establishing mini mods teams with ALL your mokos playing 💚🖤.

Ankle tapped by 🤕🤒 in the end, it’s with immense pride and little comfort in knowing you ran it straight right to the last whistle.

We can only fill the void in remembering you always and comforting our Uncle, cousins and whanau.
