While the hunters are out chasing adventure, our non-hunting guests recently spent the day horse riding around the ranch, taking in the incredible high-country scenery on horseback.

Partway through their ride, our team met them for a delicious, cooked lunch, enjoyed together in the beautiful surrounds, before they saddled up and continued their ride back towards the lodge.

From horse riding and picnics to wine tours, hiking, fishing and exploring Marlborough — there’s no shortage of ways to fill your day at Avon Valley Safaris while your hunter is out in the field.
