More entries have arrived in my inbox today, and I already know of at least three more teams still to come!

If your school is planning to send a team but needs the weekend to finalise permissions, you must email me at [email protected] by 5:00pm today so I can hold your place while the paperwork is completed.

🚨 ENTRIES CLOSE TOMORROW! 🚨

We’ve had another three schools enter today:

* Hillcrest High School
* Cashmere High School
* A composite team from Greymouth High School and John Paul II High School

There are also a couple of other composite entries awaiting approval from School Sport NZ before I can officially announce them.

If your school wants to be part of the largest squash tournament in New Zealand, make sure your entry is submitted tomorrow. Don’t miss out on what promises to be another fantastic NZ Secondary Schools Squash Teams Championships in Christchurch!

📢 NZ Secondary Schools Squash Teams Championships Update

A few more teams have entered today! Welcome to:

🏫 Auckland Grammar School (2nd team)
🏫 Christchurch Boys’ High School (2 teams)
🏫 Christ’s College
🏫 Marlborough Boys’ College (2 teams)

With only a few days remaining until entries close, the draw is really starting to take shape.

If your school is considering entering a composite team, please ensure your application is sent to me by tomorrow at the latest so it can be considered by School Sport NZ before entries close.

The latest entries have rolled in over the past week, and it’s great to see schools from across New Zealand joining us in Christchurch this August!

A big welcome to teams from Whangarei Boys’ High School, Gisborne Girls’ High School, Gisborne Boys’ High School, Te Awamutu College (girls team), Bayfield High School (boys team), and the first of two boys teams from Auckland Grammar School.

With entries continuing to arrive, we’re shaping up for another fantastic national championships.

A reminder that entries for the 2026 New Zealand Secondary Schools Squash Teams Championships close this coming Friday. If your school is planning to enter, make sure you get your forms in before the deadline!

Check out the merch for this year's event. You can order online now and pick up at the event in Chch in August. Order for pick up in Chch will close around mid July but you can still order for delivery to your home after that.

A small flurry of entries over the last couple of days!

A big welcome to newcomers Aparima College from the deep south. We are also pleased to see Wairarapa College entering both boys’ and girls’ teams, as are St Paul’s Collegiate School from Hamilton.

Past girls’ champions Waikato Diocesan School for Girls are back again, along with Napier Boys’ High School.

With less than two weeks remaining before entries close, there is still time to be part of the largest squash tournament in New Zealand. Don’t miss your chance to join us in Christchurch for what promises to be another fantastic New Zealand Secondary Schools Squash Teams Championships!

A few more entries have come in over the past week. We now have boys’ and girls’ teams entered from last year’s Co-Ed champions, Macleans College, as well as last year’s Division 2 boys’ champions, Wellington College. We have also received a composite team entry from Katikati College and Tokoroa High School.

It is great to see some familiar faces returning, with Whangārei Girls’ High School back again, along with Francis Douglas Memorial College from the ’Naki.

A reminder that entries close on 19 June. However, if you are intending to enter a composite team, please get your entry to us a few days earlier so we have time to process the necessary approvals and paperwork.

We look forward to receiving your entries and seeing you all in Christchurch in August.

Entries opened for the 2026 NZSS Squash Teams Championships last week. First entries received already are teams from Mt Albert Grammar, Ruapehu College (3 teams) and Palmerston North Boys High School. A reminder that entries close 19 June.
