Progress Check ✅ **Massive Moment**
6 months post Bicep Tendon repair… 💪 👨🔧
Today I ticked a big box on my path back to the field! 🏉
I turned up and contemplated whether it was time to try some chin ups.
An exercise that…. I wasn’t sure how/when/if it was going to be achievable again 6 months ago
But the more I thought about it the more I wanted to try it…
As I’ve learnt along this journey, in order to make progress you’ve got to be brave.
If you’re never brave enough to give something a go, you’ll never achieve it.
“You miss every shot, that you don’t take”…
Well today I took a shot and I made it!
4 Sets of Chin ups! 👊
Set 1: 10 reps - green band = up to 55kg of assistance
Set 2: 8 reps - blue band = up to 35kg of assistance
Set 3: 6 reps - Orange band = up to 30kg of assistance
Set 4: 4.5 😅 reps at Bodyweight!
A massive sense of pride, satisfaction and relief! 👍🏻
