What a great Prize Giving well done Karen & Nicki as I worked through the other results all I could hear was laughter and clapping.

This day had large smiles, great sunshine and without doubt some sadness. Karen and I were talking last night and each had regrets but like all good things the time was right.

Thank you to all those who gave Karen and I the thank you gifts it really added great joy to the day as you can see from the photos.

The weather looks great so let's hope for a final day to remember.

We are holding our Prize Giving at approx. 2.30pm with light refreshments and all are welcome.

We will be presenting the REWARDING EXCELLENCE Champion and Reserve plus Our final Series Champion and Reserve Rosettes plus all the afternoon's Rosettes.

As disappointing as the numbers are we feel we must go ahead with Sundays Dressage as it is not only the end of this series but also the last day of the rewarding excellence competition.

However, we are going ahead without paying prizemoney. We know we will not cover costs anyway, but we need to remove prize money and just have Rosettes. If you are entered and are unhappy with that, we will refund your payment.

By leaving it open we hope for a few more entries

How disappointing to return home from nationals and see we are well short of the numbers need to run our last ever show.

My last Facebook message

As I will be at the Nationals from Wednesday, I might be slower at replying to emails than usual. I will try and check them now and again.

As this closes next Monday at 8pm please get your entries in for the last day.

I am working on getting the series up on Evo but have come across a problem which I will need to talk to John about today. Hopefully this should be available by tomorrow morning.

Also, prize giving for the Rewarding Excellence check the schedule on Evoevents. Still a possible 20 points to be gained on the last day.
This is taken from your best 8 scores so things can change now if you have great scores.

Sadly, after 4 years, the very last North Canterbury Dressage, run by Karen & Ken, is open for entry

This is also the prizegiving day for our REWARDING EXCELLENCE promotion with an additions Reserve prize also now available.

We have been so lucky that we have had the support of such wonderful Sponsors that have allowed us to hand out our special Rosettes. As day 4 is the last day of this series we will be handing out the last of our large championship Rosettes. An update on the championship will be available earl next week on Evoevents.

A note to all riders.

Evoevents is offline all of Tuesday and possibly early Wednesday so we will not be able to send out the draw until they are back online.

This also means we can't extend our entries which are very low. We will go ahead with the competition anyway as we are only using the sand arenas.

I know we are all looking forward to the long weekend but don't forget North Canterbury Dressage's third day of their last series closes Monday.

Anyone that has driven past or visit the Showgrounds since last weekend will fully understand why we are doing this.

The grounds were totally thrashed by the Muscle car people and there have been some necessary changes made.

Our February day will now only be on the Sand Arenas. The Pony club have cancelled there Sunday program so that we can even have our competition.

Due to this we may have to limit entries as we don't want to finish too late. We will keep everyone updated should we need to do this.

Also, I have reloaded the schedule which had a glitch that Evo's program would not work with.

We want to thank all those who have expressed disappointment that we are not continuing once the new regulations come into force. We would love to help anyone who wishes to run these competitions from next season, but we will no longer be directly involved.
