It’s time for the ultimate Year 8 showdown! We’re bringing together selected Year 8 players from across our Friday Night Basketball competition to face off in a massive clash: NORTH (BLUE) vs. SOUTH (RED)! 🔴🔵

Come watch these talented players rep their colours, team up with rivals from around the competition, and put on a show!

North Canterbury Basketball is kicking off their Thursday night basketball programme tonight at MainPower Stadium and NC Sport’s Positive Sports Advisor, Abbey, is happy to promote the benefits of positive sideline behaviour, giving voice to young referees, officials and coaches when they volunteer for sport. Thanks to Anna and Hamish from NCBA for partnering with NC Sports on this worthwhile campaign. Want to know more? Abbey will be out and about on the sideline for both Thursday and Friday night basketball in terms 3 and 4 - just look for the purple bib!
