Meet our Cross Country Course Designer
Work on the Rakaia Cross Country Course is underway and Course Designer, Anna Poole, has planned a fresh new look to revitalise the existing facility and allow for enjoyment well beyond Springston Trophy 2026. Anna will be known to many as a keen South Island based event rider and winner of multiple national eventing titles. Anna has been designing courses for 8 years and is relishing the challenge of not just building for a day, but for a decade!

Our Logo
Our striking logo was designed by Tinwald Pony Club alumni, Harriet Stock, who cleverly incorporated the colours of our four Ashburton branches - Mill Creek, Methven, Rakaia and Tinwald. The four pony clubs are pooling resources to host Springston Trophy 2026. Our sincere thanks to Harriet for her inspired graphic design skills.

** LUCKY NUMBER DRAW FOR SISJ Champs Ashburton 24/25 **

I have donated a Web sized photo each to 5 lucky winners over the 2 days of South Island Showjumping Champs.

I did have quite specific criteria in mind for the winners, but in hindsight, I found I was setting myself up for an impossible task.

I have gone with a lucky number draw of riders across the two days.

These have been picked out with my eyes closed & stabbing the pen randomly over the two days running sheets :)

Congratulations to the winners & please pm me with your chosen file number from my gallery, email address so I can hook you up!

Well done SISJ Champs Ashburton 24/25, you organised a fabulous event ( reported as one of the best teams events EVER! ) and due to lots of smiles evident at the horseless event, hopefully this will continue! ( love a good old dressup! )

Lucky Winners are....

1. Number 13 Senior - Chloe Cameron - Bangor Babes
2. Number 66 Junior - Niamh Shaw - View Hill White
3. Number 12 Intermediate - Georgia Elworthy - Maniototo
4. Number 52 Senior - Charlotte Weir - West Melton Weedons
5. Number 17 Junior - Lily Oliver - Methven Red

And... My Sportsmanship award went to Katie Cammock for giving a young spectator her purple ribbon after she placed in her class because she noticed her admiring it! So kind of you Katie πŸ’œ
