Waimarino Muster 2026
32 Players took the court this weekend for the Annual “Muster” tourney hosted by Waimarino Squash. , A fun no points squash tourney conceived during a club night in 2022. Our Wednesday Club nights being very popular with the young shepherds who inspired the original 'Muster' theme. They consistently rock up every week for a hit, a burger or 2 and a beer.
It was great to see some of the new faces from our Wednesday club night play in their first tourney. They had some fun, met new people and watched some top-quality squash. At the end of the night we finished off with a beautiful kai and some impromptu entertainment from Harry.
President Tony MacLean thanking those who travelled, players, supporters, sponsors and the kōmiti for pulling together another successful Muster after taking a break the last 2 years.

Down to the wire. What a great night.

Thank you to Waimarino Squash for an epic night last night at our Ohakune vs Waimarino challenge. It was super close the entire night and came down to the last match of doubles with a nail biting 5 setter to secure the win for Ohakune.
