The 2026 Winter Crew Staff Party 🔥
Last night we got the rare chance to get the team together and celebrate a whirlwind of a Winter Season! But as with all good things, they must come to an end - we say goodbye to our incredible Zam Master, Goalie GOAT - Joel Gerard, as he goes off on his next Hockey adventure in Finland!
We've been blessed with the most incredible crew this year, the vibes have been immaculate and their passion for Ice Sports has left a huge impact on our community at the QIA.
A huge thank you to their dedication to the cause; you guys showed up- the early mornings, the emergancy Zams, the super late nights (only because we chat too much) and you put 1000% of yourselves into everything. You celebrated each other, cared for and raised each other up like true teammates. I can't thank you all enough for how perfectly you encompassed the goals of this business, and for the friendships we gained in having you here.
Thank you to the Athol Shop for letting us take over the Bar last night for delicious pizza & beer, and for the wonderful service! And of course thank you to our INCREDIBLE Manager Randy and his beautiful Fiance for hosting us the crew last night - hopefully we didn't make too much of a mess!
Wishing Joel the BEST of luck on his new Finnish Hockey Team (don't worry, he's coming back!) but we are going to miss your contagious laughter and immaculate lists, we can't wait to have the livestreams on the Big Screens and be your biggest fans across the water!
