Originally Counties Covers and Saddlery, Spurs of Counties has evolved into what could be described as one of the most prestigious saddlery stores in the country. Also the home of Counties Covers, quality NZ made canvas rugs off th

e shelf or made to order, including Miniatures, Donkeys and Cow rugs. There are two designs to ensure a perfect fit for any shaped horse. Spurs of Counties is owned by Chris Sorrell and Tracey Blackmore who are lending their extensive knowledge and experience in riding, competiting and breeding horses to create a retail experience that not only meets, but exceeds expectations. Tracey and her gorgeous mount Vollrath Wildfire are competitve on the national dressage circuit currently competing at medium level with great success. Chris and Tracey are developing their retail store with a great team onboard with experience from all sectors in the horse world. Regardless of whether you are a pleasure rider or an elite competitor looking for that extra something for yourself or your horse, you will find the friendly knowledgeable service and extensive product range a breath of fresh air!
