🏆 **Squash Auckland Junior Open 2026** 🏆

Over the weekend, Franklin Squash Club was proud to host the Auckland Junior Open. It was fantastic to see such a strong field of players from across the Auckland region, along with several competitors travelling from outside the area to take part.

The standard of squash on display was exceptional, showcasing the depth of talent coming through the junior ranks. There are some seriously exciting young players emerging, and it will be great to watch their development over the coming years.

🏆 GIANT-KILLER STATUS UNLOCKED! 🏆
​Huge congratulations to our very own James Green on an absolutely phenomenal weekend at the Franklin Open!
​Entering the tournament as the bottom seed, James completely tore up the script. Not only did he take out the title, but he skyrocketed his SquashLevels from 3600 straight to 4100! 📈🔥
​At 39, James continues to prove that age is just a number and that hard work pays off. When he’s not winning tournaments from the bottom of the draw, he’s pouring massive energy into our coaching and junior development, inspiring the next generation of Franklin players every single week.
​Turns out, the coach has still got a few lessons to teach! 😉

⭐️ We have the Squash Stars Activator (coaches) Workshop at Franklin Squash Club with Mark Waldin THIS coming FRIDAY (22nd May @ 7pm) ⭐️

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone in the club who is keen to get involved in growing the game, whether that is coaches, parents, volunteers or members who show an interest in juniors.

The workshop is designed to build confidence and provide simple, practical tools to deliver fun and engaging junior sessions, helping strengthen your club’s capability at an entry level.

We are looking for people to help with our Junior programme on Mondays between 4-7pm.
