Hazel is a beautiful uphill mare, very modern and fine - a stunning park hack type currently. She is the first crop of the Be Sure foals in NZ. Her sire lines are full of quality and stunning Dressage horse. Her Dam was a beautiful hack and had a very quality jump.

Hazel has a beautiful soft nature. Just the right amount of spark but trusts those that work with her and will happily do anything asked of her. She needs a kind, loving and experienced home. She’s always been beautifully uphill, I think she’ll be a later developer as too was her Dam.

In the early stages of being backed. Happy with bit and bridle, lunges with and without roller and happy with contact. Has been laid on and ready to make steady progress through winter.

Hazel has been very well handled. Happy to be wash, stand tied for fairer and vets. Happy in the stables over night. Good with other horses in the paddock or over the fence. Cotton cover on over summer and warmer rugs on for winter. Respectful of tapes and power. Had little stints of float training, will follow a food bucket most places!

Bazil is the stunning little boy with the biggest personality. I can see him being a hot shot FEI Dressage pony - or an absolute legend at anything in between. He is a stunning dark brown, always covered in dappled and has the cutest face!
He has a huge character, loves attention and coming in to be part of the team. He needs a firm but fair hand, a confident home that loves a horse with a personally and knows how to use that to their advantage.

In the early stages of being backed. Happy with bit and bridle, lunges with roller and a little contact from side reins. Have been laid on and have had flapping bags etc. whilst being worked.
Taking slowly to honour their age and growth.

🔅 SHB Dressage Kiwi Arena Rakes Premier League 2025 🔆

Diamanto DE - Heidi, our birthday girl produced nice foundation tests. My goals for her this weekend; check in on the quality of trot, our big work on for the winter; and build a bit more confidence within herself in the arena. Very happy with a few 8’s for her mediums/extended trots. She is such a versatile little horse (loves a day of hunting) that it’s easy to forget she’s gets a little unsure in the rectangle.

Glenhill Idalia - Idalia, the new princess on the block. This little horse is simply all my dreams wrapped up in a chestnut rocket 🚀 so blessed ! Very impressed with her brain and her willingness to work with me through any little bits of tension. She’s just wow. She’s been a bit of a bright light at the end of a really tough few years with the horses.

Really pleased with the girlies. Two very different horses with different goals, lots to work on but very happy & healthy ponies. I been feeling very lost without my guiding star, Penny. I know she’d tell me to ‘give yourself some grace’ and ‘let it take time’. So that we will do. She has left me with some very special new friends who have been super supportive. So with as much grace as possible - onwards 🩵

Heidi handled the long travel amazingly and embraced the beautiful and atmospheric Takapoto Estate like a seasoned professional!

Every test better than the previous, a huge thanks to Penny for all the polishing!
A few hard marks can’t overshadow the amazing work she produced and all that shes learnt - proofing for the future 💕

Her 5th birthday at the end of the week, I think she’s earned a few special goodies just for her 🎁

Very proud of Heidi Hops - easy to forget she’s not yet 5!

She produced some super work at her first PL Show, top 5 in 2C and 4th in Super5. Really happy with her attitude and rideability, exciting knowing she’ll only improve - Our very early draw made for some interesting % differences 😅
Speakers/monsters 👹 made for an interesting ‘make do’ musical, next time we’ll try some ears!
Lots of learning and lots to love!
