*** PCTag Registration Information for the 2026-27 Season ***

Registration Days:
Mon Oct 12th @ 6.15pm to 8pm
Wed Oct 14th @ 6.15pm to 8pm

Maraeroa School, 47 Drivers Cres. Across from Porirua College
Park at the top & follow the sign directing you to the hall.

You have to attend a rego day to register your TEAM NAME ONLY or Sign Up as an Individual Player if you don't have a team.

How to register your team - Adults.
1. PAY your rego fee of $500 (which covers x20 players).
* Additional players over 20 will be an additional $20 per player. This is paid at a later date once you hand in your Player Registration Form which is due in the 2nd week.
2. Fill in the correct form for your grade.

How to register your team - Youth.
1. Youth is still Free.
2. Register your team name to the correct grade.
* The age that you are turning next year is the grade that you play. E.g If you are 13yrs NOW turning 14yrs next year, you would play in the 14yrs grade. If you are 13yrs NOW turning 14yrs this year, you would play 15yrs, because you are turning 15yrs next year.
Player Rego form is due in the 2nd week.

How to register as an Individual Player.
1. Fill out the form & we will find you a team to play for.

Change of days.
* Open Mix will now be played Wed along with Open Mens, Womens & Masters.
* Under 20s Youth teams are still Free in the Open Grades.
- Females must be the correct age for these grades.
Thurs - Social Grades
* You can ONLY play for & be registered to ONE TEAM in the Social Grade.

Youth Grades - Played on Sat from 10am to 4pm ish.
Mixed Gender Grades
6s, 7s & 8s - Combined Grades.
9s, 10s, 11s, 12s, 13s, 14s, 15s & 16s,
17s, 18s, 19s & 20s - Combined Grades.

* Youth Girls - 9s to 20s can play down x2 grades.
* Unlimited numbers. Our recommendation is 12-16 players.

Games Rules. Played at Ascot Park, Waitangirua, Porirua.
6s, 7s & 8s - Relaxed rules. Refereed by team coaches.
9s, 10s, - No Markers.
11s up - Normal Rules apply.

Uniforms:
One of our Biz Sponsors is MVP Sports Uniforms
They do full sublimated uniforms & or plain tee tops.
We are cracking down on team's that rock up with no uniform at all. At the minimum you just need the same tee with a number on it.

The Module will also have Tag Shorts for sale when the module starts.

We do have a Velcro Patch service for putting Patches on your non tag shorts & or re-patching your current tag shorts. Bring them to a rego night to get sorted. V Patch on both sides = $10.

All questions including rules of game can be answered on a rego night.

Thank you to those of you whom attended the AGM/General meeting to have your say & voice any changes you'd like put in place.

From these meeting's there are a few changes taking place.

If you are new to tag or a seasoned coach or manager & want to know our procedure's on this & that, then this is for you. Bring all your question's to this meeting.

If you are interested in running a tag comp outside of the Porirua area, such as Wellington (not Paremata), Hutt Valley..Upper & Lower Hutt attend the General meeting & we will advise you on how to get started.

When: August 16th, 12noon to 1pm

Hi All TagStarZ...getting a lot of requests about the info on the 2026-27 Tag season.

Info will be posted up here & hopefully on our new website (if I've finished it by then) mid August after our AGM & sub meetings that are taking place in the next week or two.

There's normally a 1001 things to do to set up a tag season & 1 of them is finding kind hearted community caring small or large businesses "Sponsors" that understand what we are all about & what we do as a group for the community of Porirua.

Also a few changes in personnel & a few role swapsies.

Info on AGM for both PCTag Module & WgtnKiwiTag will be posted once the date is finialized.
