Back to the dojo!

Training begins this week on Monday and we are really looking forward to seeing you all back.

Kids class 4 to 5:00 p.m.

NEW teens and adults class 5:30 onwards

If you have friends siblings or cousins that are interested to try karate bring them along as we try and build up our club.

What a way to finish off the year

Pauatahanui Karate Club final training of the year last night was at Plimmerton Beach.

We warmed up with a run along the beach, and then had a great time doing some push-ups, sit ups, squats, kicks, hip tosses, and kata in the ocean.

The weather was great, and the water was warm.

Great finish to the year, and thanks to the Maxey family for bringing lots of sausages for the BBQ and Ingrid for the iceblocks

It's been an exciting year! We are gearing up for our last week of training at Pauatahanui Karate Club

We held our first in house grading under our new kyu grade syllabus

Our numbers continued to grow with lots of new white belts joining the club in term two and three

Our club saw its first member Helena Coulton promoted to shodan (1st Dan Black Belt)

Our branch instructors each graded
Sensei Caitlin 2nd Dan
Sensei Paul 3rd Dan
Sensei Wil 4th Dan

Home stretch!
The final training for 2025 for Pauatahanui Karate Club will be Thursday, 11 December at Plimmerton Beach.

We will have a beach training , followed by a picnic dinner for our students and families to join us and celebrate a great year at Karate.

Be prepared to get wet! Wear your gi, and maybe a sun hat and expect some fun and games
