A tough battle for our Navy girls tonight against a strong St Pats 2 side. The girls showed plenty of determination and grit right through to the final whistle, never backing down and continuing to fight for every ball. There were some awesome passages of play through the court, with strong defensive pressure and some accurate shooting keeping us in the contest. Lots to be proud of, girls — heads up and onto the next one 💙🏐

Although a daunting start with just 6 available to play, the girls showed up ready to roll with positive attitudes! Coach Ainslie gave the team a good plan before warm up. They put this all into play and gelled incredibly well, working together like they had been playing for years. We can see how much you guys want this!

Thank you to the Uys sisters Heidi & Kaylee who rocked up to save the day. Great to have you back - we missed you!

Dana crushed it in the shooting circle, scoring goal after goal. Long shots, short shots; everything seemed to be dropping through the net! She was constantly available, holding strong in front and confidently calling and directing the ball around the circle edge. Well done Dana, you did the team proud!

Huge effort from the whole team with plenty of hustle, pressure, and composure across the court. A game full of positives and plenty to take forward as we keep building this season.

Not our night taking the loss, but still an incredible game played by our ladies. There were key moments of great teamwork and a real desire to fight right through to the final whistle. Staying positive, the girls will lift themselves up, put in the work at training, and get ready for the next challenge ahead 💪

The girls started how they wanted to finish this week, putting out a strong performance right from the first whistle. Everyone played their part, making sure to put our training into practice, work hard on defence, and sink the shots when it really mattered. We capitalised off our own centre passes and added those bonus shots after turnovers. Stoked to come away with the W! 💪

The girls had a good game against a well versed Harlies team who did well to hunt the ball. Though no win was on the cards they kept pushing through till the final whistle. The defence end was relentless putting on the pressure and capturing multiple turnovers. Each of our girls gave it their all managing to keep a smile right to the end. Or perhaps was it Jess Brady’s new style of passing - aim for the forehead! A good belly laugh was had by half of us who witnessed that! Thanks for showing up and giving it your all girls.

𝙋𝙧𝙚-𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙝𝙮𝙥𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙜/𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡: On My Knees - Rüfüs Du Sol in the car on the way in. A new habit is a coconut chai with Ains watching the game before ours.
