Teratane horse and rider - Waikato Sharing my knowledge I am offering you the opportunity in a safe environment to gain confidence and help you get the most from your riding experience.

Helping you gain confidence in riding and having fun on your own horse is what I gives me most pleasure
Horses have been in my life since a young age, I grew up in a family of horse lovers. I have been thru pony club, hacking, trekking, played polocrosse, mustered in NZ and Australia. Horses and horse riding remains a lifelong passion of which I get such a lot of pleasure sharing with likeminded

people. Teratane has been transformed from a small lifestyle block to a bubbly equestrian hub. I encourage all riders from first time riders to those more experienced riders to come and gain confidence or just have some fun getting to know your horse. Teratane offers an arena set up to challenge many horse disciplines such as Cowboy challenges, Western riding, English, Pony clubs or someone who wishes to educate their own horse to new adventure. Whether it’s a one on one or a group session it’s about the ability to ride and building confidence to enable you to have fun with your riding and with your horse. I am also happy to bring my tuition to your arena or your club. All riders must have their own horse. The age limit at Teratane is 8 years and over

Teratane has now moved to 855 Frontier Road Pirongia. With the move comes a few changes. firstly Laurie intends to continue to share his experience and expertise with other horse like minded people and help those who wish to enter into the sport of horse riding.
Laurie will now come to you if you require a lesson or help with your horse riding. Thanks to a friend He does have access to an arena so lesson for those who do not have one will continue. He still has access to the farms to ride on for which he is grateful to the farm owners. So for further info give Laurie a call 021791650
