Wow! What a day!! π₯³π₯³π€©π€©π΄π΄π΄π¦π¦π¦
A bit of a long post to wind things up, so please bear with us and read through ...
Thank you so much to everyone who came along to the MPPC Novice Ribbon Day or contributed in some way to make it so successful! We've had some fantastic feedback and are stoked that you all enjoyed it - there were certainly a lot of faces full of smiles and necks full of ribbons!! We were very lucky to have an incredible group of knowledgeable, supportive judges who probably spent as much time instructing and encouraging as they did judging - thank you to all of you for taking the time out of your busy lives.
We are very grateful to everyone who dug deep into their pockets and bought raffle tickets. The winners were drawn by the lovely Jeannie Ryan:
Grocery Hamper - Nettie K
Fiber Fresh/Dunstan package x 2 - Carlee M, Terry
Waikato Rugby package x 2 - Jo B, Libby C
Bluetooth Speaker - Kelly J
Pirongia package - Tracey G
Ricoh package x 5 - Jess Y, Todd R, Bridget F, Mike T, Jo F
We were also delighted to receive over 40 "Change The Rein" nominations - so fantastic to see all those helpful people and awesome attitudes. Our local cowboy, Laurie Ryan, agonised over these, finally awarding Lachy Johnson with the major prize of a winter combo cover, sponsored by TA Saddlery - well done Lachy!
Of course, we could not have had raffles, spot prizes, Change the Rein or ribbons without the support of our incredible sponsors - you guys have blown our minds! Please give it up for...
Manor Farms - for our ribbons
Te Awamutu Saddlery Ltd - for our Change the Rein and spot prizes
Ricoh Hamilton - for our posters, certificates, spot and raffle prizes
Fiber Fresh Equine - New Zealand and Dunstan Horsefeeds - for raffles and spot prizes
Waikato Rugby - for raffle prizes

The Hive - for raffle prizes
Cafe on Franklin - for raffle prizes

Finally, we could not have had such a successful day without all of our riders and their "grooms" and supporters - thanks to every one of you for coming along and we hope to see you all again next time!
