🏉 What a huge final week of junior rugby!

Our youngest players in U8 and U9 once again showed what junior rugby is all about. Having fun, learning, and giving it their all.

Unfortunately, Taumarunui had to default against our Piopio U11 Green team, but the players were fortunate to have another game against Waitete to honour Baven Brown. A minute’s silence was observed before kick-off, and no score was recorded. It was wonderful to see so many kids out enjoying the game together.

Our U11 Gold team also finished their season with a hard-fought game against Ōtorohanga. While they didn’t come away with the competition title, they played with heart, and it was fantastic to see such great support on the sidelines.

Although our U13 season finished a few weekends ago, we’d like to give them a special mention and congratulate them on a season full of growth, teamwork, and determination. Well done, everyone!
