💨 Breathing during a big lift isn't an afterthought. It's part of the lift.

Take a big breath in before you lift. Brace your core hard. Hold it through the hardest part. Breathe out as you complete the movement.

It creates intra-abdominal pressure that protects your spine under load.
A belt can help, but only if you already know how to brace without one. 💪

Here's a reminder of what consistent movement actually does for your body and your mind

Meet the sandbag. One of the most underrated training tools in the gym.
Unlike a barbell or dumbbell, a sandbag shifts and moves as you lift it. The weight isn't fixed or predictable. Which means your muscles, especially your core and stabilisers have to work constantly just to control it.

Have you got sore knees? Do your legs get super stiff after a workout? Does the side of your butt get sore after leg day?

If you've answered yes to any of these questions, you should try foam rolling!!

Foam rollers use your body weight to massage sore points in the body. If you have seen our glorious foam torture devices above the slam balls and haven't known what they're for - try this rolling technique to help with knee pain, tight glutes or even hip pain. It might hurt to begin with but if you roll on the ouchy spot for 15 - 20 seconds before moving on, you will feel a difference almost immediately!
