Go Dive Pacific is looking for a SSI/SDI Instructor starting September. This is a live in position at our Dive Lodge in Port Gore. You will need a current CoC and enjoy wreck diving and living in a remote location. We are also offering a live in summer Divemaster/Instructor internship, no diving experience required. Nearly the end of our busy season at Port Gore, we have had some great dives and groups this summer and looking forward to next season. Thanks to all of you who have joined us over the summer. Still the odd trip through the winter though if you are keen. A few images from the last few weeks, showing the contrast and beauty of the area.

Awesome weekend with Dave’s Dive Club from Kaikoura. Buzzed by dolphins U/W on the Lermy, took photos of five different species of Nudibranchs, one I haven’t seen before on the wreck, octopus, carpet sharks, King fish, just to mention a few fishy encounters. Well organised group.

Perfect start to another days diving in Port Gore, five days of near perfect weather and conditions. Other than patches of biological soup on the Lermontov, visibility wasn’t to bad. Jack Mackerel making the most of the soup with them in the water column right to the surface, much to the delight of some very large King Fish and bottlenose dolphins. Thanks to the VSAG group from Aussie for a great few days diving.
