Raising funds for a new all-weather carpet green for the Pauanui Bowling Club. This will replace our very tired, sad grass green.

Congratulations Kaye on winning the Thames Valley Junior Open Singles today at Tui Park. We are all very proud of your achievements in your first year of bowling. Well done to Sandra Morris from our neighbouring club, Tairua for being runner-up.

Another great season comes to an end and we celebrated with an evening at the Pauanui Club. Thanks to Lee Anne, Jamie and their staff for a delicious meal and great bar service!
Congratulations to all the winners this season and a big thank you to Kim for being our convenor over the last few years.

Today was a beautiful day for playing bowls and it is a shame the season has now come to an end. Winners were Gavin and Mark, second were Dave and Kaye. Everyone got a prize today. Thanks to Kim for running our end of season tournament and see you all at dinner next Monday.

The Pauanui Service Centre Mens open singles competition was finally completed last week after weather delays. In the semi finals, John McConnell beat Dave Gillingham and Peter Crofsky beat Aaron McShane. So the final became a battle between senior and junior - and John showed his class and came out on top.
Well done to all players and thanks to the supporters on the deck!

Richardsons sponsored Ladies open singles result.
Battle lines were drawn, Anne had 2 lives and Kaye had 1. the clouds were ominous, let play commence!
Over the next 4 hours some excellent bowls were played and Kaye came out on top.
Congratulation Kaye and we will be there to support you in the Champ of Champs competition.

A great morning spent listening to wise words from Selina Goddard and Sam Tolchard and getting an insight into their world of bowls. Thanks to Graham and Annie Doreen for organising their visit. I hope we all learned a few new tricks for how to win at bowls!!!

Yes there are people playing bowls out there and yes there are people watching some great bowls being played!
The men's open singles competition started late this morning due to the weather, so it finished late tonight. The floodlights from the club were turned on and play continued.
Tomorrow sees 2 semi finals with players being John McConnell, Dave Gillingham, Painterman and Peter C - a good mix of senior and junior players.
