With the tragic passing of Club Legend Michael "Barrymore" Lovett this week the Punters will be sporting black arm bands and having a minutes silence.
Barrymore epitomised what it was to be a club man and was an absolute asset to Paremata-Plimmerton RFC.
It's a huge loss to the club.
Our thoughts are with his Family at this difficult time.
Mike played for the Punters and the Boys will be putting their hearts on their sleeves when they run out for him tomorrow.

We got a bunch of good punts kicking off at 1 pm down in Petone before the Prems have their Semi Final Tomorrow.
If the Punts get up here they will have a great chance to be playing a semi final of their own in a couple weeks.
Team is STACKED and CHAMPAGNE RUGBY is on the menu.

to our Turangawaewae DOWNTOWN NGATI TOA DOMAIN to take on the mighty PUNTERS at 2.45 . There will undoubtedly be some champagne footy on display 🍾 🏉 and just check out this STACKED line up.
Today we will wear Black Arm Bands in memory of "The Prince of Porirua" Adam Vardey
Adam played junior and senior rugby with many of us and was a legend in our community.

Big Saturday Tomorrow for the Punters as they start the Second Round by heading down SH59 for the local derby vs the Porirua Boys who are celebrating their Old Timers Day and paying their respects for Jerry Collins 10 year anniversary.
Will be a real challenge however the Punters squad looks STACKED and have been playing some champagne football in the last month.
