Hello everybody,
6 sleeps to go! My apologies, I have had internet/server problems and some of you have not received the emails I sent. So hopefully, you will see this.
We have 2 sessions on Sunday mornings at Weka Park KCU clubrooms. At 9.30, the first session will be for the younger ones who are born after the 1st of June 2020 (so around 5 and 1/2 years old and younger). At 10.30, the second session will be for the older ones who are born before the 31st of May 2020. We will give you your teams then and there.
We still need some volunteers team leaders, especially for the first session. Today, we are going to be at the clubrooms at 1pm and 7 pm for more infos. It is very easy and fun. We have plenty of samples for activities. We don't coach at this age!
Don’t forget a drink bottle!
Make sure that your children are comfortable. Weka park can be cold, so if they need tracksuits pants, jumper under the top, it is fine. Soccer boots and shin pads are recommended to avoid as many bruises and accidents as possible.

Hi everybody,

Our first day is quickly approaching (3rd May).
The weather is unpredictable, so sometimes we may have to call in the morning to cancel when we see the grounds, when the council closes the grounds, etc. All cancellations will be posted the latest at 9 am on Sunday morning in our page KCU kickers. In any doubts, refer to it before coming to Weka.

This year, we have a record of registrations and we need team leaders. At KCU, we are all volunteers. We do not coach at this age. We facilitate activities and matches so that each child has a maximum opportunity to learn to handle a ball. Please get back to me as soon as possible, so I can match you and your child's team. For more informations or questions, we will meet at Weka Park clubrooms on Monday 27th at 1pm and 7pm. It will only take 1/2h at the most. If you can't make it then, let me know and we will make another time later that week.

Hello everybody,
One month to go before we start on the 3rd May at Weka Park. The times are 9.30 till 10.20 ish for the 3-5 years old and 10.30 till 11.20 ish for the 5-7 years old. As you can see the 5 years old can be in the first or second session. We will contact you to check which is best for your child. In the meantime, if you have not already done so on the registration form, could you please let us know which kindergarten/daycare or school your child attends? We will try to match friends. Send the info to [email protected].
Please be patient, we expect around 160 registrations next week, so a few things to sort.
We will also send you an info sheet about how we are organising the season, the sessions and our goals, so you can prepare your less experienced young ones if you wish.
