Hi F45ers

Get ready! Games Day is coming and it's unlike anything you've experience at an F45 studio before.

This is a 60-minute team workout where you and two teammates compete to accumulate as many points as possible across three dedicated zones.

Fourteen minutes to empty the tank in each zone and two and a half minutes to recover and rotate.

It's competitive. It's fun. And it's the kind of session that brings out the best in the people around you.

You’ll move through 3 dedicated workout zones, each designed to challenge you in different ways:

Zone 1 – Engine
Endurance-based cardio with synchronised movements

Zone 2 – Lift Off
Strength endurance and maximum load

Zone 3 – Hybrid AMRAP
A mix of weighted movements and cardiovascular output

Choose your Team or Come Solo and get Teamed Up!

No matter your fitness level, everyone can get involved .

Some bittersweet news from the studio...
After two years with F45 Paraparaumu, Coach Zoe is moving on to her next challenge as she prepares to join the frontline ranks of New Zealand Police.

When Zoe first joined our coaching team, she was quiet and reserved, but over time she grew into a confident and caring coach who became a favourite among so many of our members. Her genuine support, attention to detail, and commitment to helping others made a real impact both on the training floor and behind the scenes.

We're incredibly proud of what she's achieved and grateful that we've been able to be part of her journey.

Zoe will be coaching with us until Monday 22nd, so make sure you jump into one of her classes and wish her well before she heads off to her next adventure.

Thanks for everything, Zoe. We wish you every success for the future and know you'll do an amazing job.

We’re excited to officially welcome Rosaleen to the coaching team at F45 Kapiti!

Originally from F45 Upper Hutt, Rosaleen has recently made the move over to the Kapiti Coast and we’re so excited to have her joining our studio.

She has strong coaching knowledge, honed over thousands of classes and hundreds of clients, great energy, and a coaching style that will keep you motivated, working hard, and enjoying every session.

From what we’ve heard, she also runs a pretty tight ship during demos and class briefs, apparently talking during these, may result in burpees.

We know your going to love training with her. Make sure you say hello and give Rosaleen a big welcome when you see her in studio.

Dead hangs look simple… but they deliver a lot 👇

Hanging from the bar is one of the easiest ways to build serious grip strength, something that carries over into almost every lift and day to day task.

It’s also great for shoulder health and mobility. By letting your body relax into the hang, you’re opening up the shoulders, improving range, and giving those joints a bit of space to move the way they’re meant to.

You’ll also get a natural spinal decompression. After long days sitting or loading the body in training, a dead hang can help take pressure off the spine and leave you feeling a bit looser.

And don’t be fooled, there’s a solid core stability component too. To stay controlled, especially if you’re avoiding swinging, your core has to switch on and support you the whole time.

Simple, effective, and this is exactly why we programme them into this phase 👍

This Sunday, unwind, restore, and reconnect in this thoughtfully crafted recovery-focused class led by experienced yoga instructor Shannon Jefferies. Designed to complement high-intensity training, this slower-paced practice emphasizes mobility, gentle strength, and nourishing stretches to release tension and support long-term performance.

Intentional breath work is woven throughout the class to calm the nervous system, enhance circulation, and create space in both body and mind. Expect a grounded, supportive experience that invites you to move with awareness, soften where you’ve been holding on, and leave feeling balanced, open, and deeply restored.
Suitable for all levels. Come as you are, this is where recovery becomes part of your training.

🎅 The studio isn’t going anywhere over the holidays and we’re rolling out a more relaxed, festive timetable to carry everyone through the break. Some days we’ll be putting in the work! 💪 Some days we’ll be enjoying a bit of glazed ham. That’s the summer flow 😌

If you’re heading out of Kāpiti for a getaway, remember you can use your F45 Passport to drop into studios wherever you’re staying or the F45 App is loaded with at home sessions for you and the family to enjoy wherever you might be equipment or no equipment.
