WE.MUST.SAVE.THEMMMM
Every week this comes up with one of my members or usually, new members. I find out they’re training fasted in the morning 😩
I know it’s a tricky time to get fuel in but if you knew what was actually happening while you were training in a fasted state you’d be SO guttered. Such wasted effort. Such detriment to your hormones and body clock too.
Aside from the endorphins… you’d honestly probably be better staying in bed.
Your body cannot create energy you need for strength work and high intensity cardio from fat. So the misconception that being hungry and still working hard will burn more fat is exactly that, a MISCONCEPTION.
If you want to have fun while bringing intensity to your workouts, progressively improve and grow muscle tissue you’re looking at about 30g carbs before training and throw in about 10g of protein too if doing strength training and you can stomach it. But carbs are the biggest priority.
