🏁 HAVE A GO AT KARTING

Ever wondered what it’s actually like to get behind the wheel of a kart? Our next Have a Go Day is Saturday 26 September, 9am–3pm at KartSport Manawatu.

Our Have a Go sessions are a great opportunity to experience karting for yourself and see if it’s the sport for you.

These sessions fill up fast, so if you’re keen, make sure you get in touch early. Mike, our Have a Go Coordinator, will help you with everything you need to know and getting your spot organised.

IMPORTANT TRACK DATES

A quick heads-up to our members with a few upcoming events and private hires at the track.

The track will be unavailable for practice during the following dates:

19–20 September – Mini GP Bikes
Saturday 26 September, 9am–3pm – Have-a-Go Day
Thursday 15 October – Evolocity Private Hire
Friday 16 October – Evolocity Private Hire wet weather back-up day
19–20 December – Mini GP Bikes

Please keep these dates in mind when planning any practice sessions.

🏁 ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN – CLUB CHAMPS ROUND 2 🏁

We’re ready for another great day of racing at KartSport Manawatu on Sunday 4 October.

If you’re planning to race, please get your entry in early. Knowing our numbers ahead of time is really important and helps us plan properly and put together the best possible Club Champs round for everyone.

Club Champs is about getting out there, having some fun, enjoying plenty of racing and supporting your fellow club members. Whether you’re chasing points, developing your racing or simply coming along for a great day at the track, we’d love to have you there.

Let’s get a great field together and make Round 2 a good one.

Entries close Wednesday 30 September at 9pm.

Driver of the Day 🏆

Our Driver of the Day from yesterday’s Club Day went to the very deserving Imogen O’Hara.

It was Imogen’s very first Club Day, and she did an amazing job out there. A great effort for her first time racing with us and such a cool little driver to have joining in.

The trophy is almost as big as her 😂

Congratulations Imogen — we can’t wait to see you back out there again.

An unfortunate penalty see Phillips demoted from 1st place to 3rd place in the FIA Asia Pacific Arrive & Drive Championship. Still a WINNER in our hearts... what an absolutely epic drive from the Manawatu teenager!!
