Green bikes, formally The Green Bike Trust has been providing sustainable transport for students and the wider community in Palmerston North since 1995. We are always on the lookout for more bikes to restore and pass on to those in our community who need them most. If you have any old, unused bikes that you would like to donate we are more than happy to take them off your hands and make good use of them. It is important that students and the community are encouraged to cycle for the environment and personal health. The Green Bike scheme has provided many employment opportunities for disadvantaged members of our community, and hands on experience for many youth in our community. Recently due to a reduction in funding and related matters the Green bike trust has been disestablished as a charity and sold to myself, to continue under the name Green Bikes, which we have done so for the past few years. We hope to offer the same fair priced rental, repair and sales in future

I would like to acknowledge the work done by all previous employee's, but especially Janice and Yvonne.Also the many volunteers and groups worked with. Finally the ongoing generosity of the public in donating their unwanted cycles.

Raleigh revival- Here is a 1977 Raleigh Bermuda all original from the previous owner. These were made under Raleigh license by Morrison Industries Hastings, N.Z. I have serviced the wheels and polished the chrome and replaced the handle bars, stem, grips, front light and bell. The lights work with D batteries.
