Damiano delivered a late Easter treat for his connections yesterday at Wanganui in style 🐎✨

Settling at the rear of the field under Sam Collett, he produced a powerful turn of foot to charge home and score by just under three lengths!

He has now had four starts over 2000m for three wins and a placing.

That’s win number 11 for his career — and an incredible seventh win at Trentham. Safe to say the Champagne Turf has been a pretty happy hunting ground for him. 🍾

We are incredibly proud of “Zac” as he is known to all the stable staff, and there is no doubt he had an angel riding with him today. 🤍🐎

A Sunday double at Tauherenikau to round out a fantastic weekend of racing for the team! 🥂

THE EXPLOSIVE was exactly that when storming home to take out the second on the card under the calm the ride of Amber Riddell. 💥💥

RIBELLA ROSE then saluted for her maiden win in race 4 in an impressive style for her large ownership group who have been with her every step and patiently waiting for this day. 💃

With a further five placings from our nine runners, it rounded out a very pleasing day on course 🏇💎

Platinum Attack is back in the winner’s circle! 🏆

A brilliant performance yesterday at Trentham saw him storm home to take out the Listed Lightning Handicap, unleashing a powerful finish under Bruno Queiroz on the Champagne Turf.

Luck hasn’t always been on his side this season, so this victory was especially well deserved—and incredibly rewarding for long-time loyal supporters Neville McAlister and John Street.

The boss didn’t waste any time securing another cracking filly — this time by In The Congo out of the six-time winning Zoustar mare Zou De Moon.

A filly with plenty of pedigree appeal, In The Congo is a three-quarter brother to Australian superstar Autumn Glow, so here’s hoping this girl can inherit a touch of that class.

Pinafore unleashed at Tauherenikau today in front of an impressive crowd! 🏁

Kate Hercock grabbed a beautiful spot in behind the leaders before angling her out at the top of the straight — and from there, they put the race to bed.

After being undone by a wet track last start, we were confident she’d bounce back on better footing, and she delivered in style.
