The following sports start next week
- Competitive Badminton starts Monday 9th
- Squash starts Tuesday 10th
- Girls Football starts Wednesday 11th
- Basketball starts Friday 13th
- Youth Rugby starts Saturday 14th

Attached is Monday 17th to Thursday 20th of August draws.

Unfortunately with the latest Covid-19 announcement Badminton will not run in Level 2.
Any games/matches played on our school fields will NOT HAVE SPECTATORS.

The sports that will continue to run require the following:
- contact tracing using https://www.idme.co.nz
- washing and drying hands regularly
- using hand sanitizer when it is available
- providing and using your own drink bottle
- stay home if you are feeling unwell

Unfortunately with the latest Covid-19 announcement Basketball and Rugby have been postponed this week.
Netball and Football will go ahead under the rules of Level 2.
- contact tracing using https://www.idme.co.nz

- keeping a safe distance from those not in your household or expanded bubble

Hope you are all well. Here is a sports update.

Unfortunately it is likely that winter sports will not be conducted in term 2 due to Covid-19. This includes trials, trainings and competitions. However, this will vary as the levels of lockdown change.

Return to play:
Some non-contact sports can commence their competition in Level 2 lockdown.
All other sports cannot commence until Level 1 lockdown. This includes all contact sports such as Netball, Basketball, Rugby and Football.

Keep active and stay safe.
