Huge shout-out to Rotorua Boys' High School 1st XV and FAHS Feilding High School Rugby 1st XV — doing Aotearoa proud on the world stage .

Both teams have been outstanding throughout the SANIX World Rugby Youth Tournament in Japan.

And for the first time ever, we’ve got an all-Kiwi final with two NZ schools going head-to-head for the title

The road to 🏆 Moascar Cup glory is locked in for 2026.

Defending National Champions Rotorua Boys' High School will put the cup on the line at home against the challengers below. Who’s stepping up against Raukura? Who’s making a run at the Moascar?

The Moascar Cup is one of the most prestigious trophies in New Zealand secondary school rugby.

First contested in 1920, it operates as a challenge shield. The holder defends it in designated matches, and any challenger who beats them takes the cup.

Often compared to the Ranfurly Shield at school level, it’s known for its tradition, intense rivalries, and the pride of hosting and defending it on home turf. 🏉
