We’re writing to share some important news about a change to our Retail Network that affects our Manawatu community.
Our retail stores have been a meaningful part of our journey, and we know Crank It Cycles has been more than just a shop—it’s been a hub for riders, a place to connect, and a home for the cycling community. As we navigate a challenging economic landscape, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to close Crank It Cycles. The store will close its doors at 5 PM on Friday, March 21, 2025.
We want to take a moment to sincerely thank you—our riders—for your support, your stories, and for making Crank It Cycles such a special place. Your passion for riding has fueled everything we do, and we are truly grateful to have been a part of your cycling journey.
Our thoughts are also with the incredible in-store team—Madi, Sam, Rodney, and Rod—who have been the heart of Crank It Cycles. We are working closely with them on future opportunities within the Specialized family.
While this chapter is coming to a close, we remain committed to supporting your riding needs. We hope to announce a new local partnership soon—stay tuned for more details.
