25/26 Speedway season kicked off at our new home track of Wanganui Oceanview Speedway last night!

We have a been lucky enough to be given the 992 of our best mate Taylor Lampps car to run this year while he builds the new one 👌🏼 After some big hours in the shed, we are pretty happy with the car and the new look 👀

We had a solid nights racing.
Race 1 - grid 3, finished first 🏁
Race 2 - grid 12, finished 3rd 🥉
Race 3 - grid 12, finished first 🏁 (new lap record also set)
Race 4 (grand slam) - grid 1, finished 2nd 🥈

2025 NZ Stockcar championship

Night one
8th - 1st🏁
21st - 8th
10th - 2nd

This put us top on points in our group and into the main show on Saturday night, big thanks to the lads that helped me out in the last race I won’t forget the effort 👍🏼

Night two
13th up to 2nd and blew a RR tire causing us to pull off and taking any chance of a title out of our hands.
28th - 15th
6th - 4th
Giving us 16NZ=

NZ Stockcar championship ready ✅

It’s been a big two weeks to get here after the damage from the GP but we’ve made it and the team is looking forward to getting into it.

A bit slack on the up dates recently

Stockcar teams invasion for the Stratford stormers
My debut for the stormers was up against my contracted home club the Gisborne Gladiators.
Pretty happy to come away with the win in this one and this gave the team enough points to put us into the final against the defending teams champions the Rotorua rascals.
A tough battle with them but coming away with the win was a bloody great accomplishment and great for the team to achieve this early in the season.

A big thanks to the Stratford drivers, managers and crew for the great weekend 👍🏼

For us we put our G back on the car and focus on the changes we need to make to the car before the stockcar GP in a few weeks.

Last Saturday saw us drive down to Wellington for there stockcar knockout event
Being paired up with Taylor Lampp 992p

Seeding race one
P16 - 1st
Heat one
14th - 3rd (with 992p getting second putting us into the semi finals)
Semi finals
5th - DNF out side flat

This weekend sees us in Rotorua for the stockcar triples with 992p and 175p.

Bit of a late off season start for us as usual
Car has been put back together after repairing most things from last year.
Went up to our contracted track Gisborne on Saturday night for there opening night and best pairs.
Paired up with our good friend Bryce 98G

Race one P1 to 1st🏁
Race two P7 to 3rd
Race three P10 to 5th

Putting us top on points giving us the win, great start to the season and more to come.

Peter Barry teams
Night one we had Stratford up first and we came away with the win and the Rees shield it’s also the first time Gisborne’s ever won it so that’s a bonus.
Unfortunately the second race was rained out.
We sustained a fair bit of damage to the diff in the first race so lucky it did because we have the car all fixed and ready to go.
We are first up against the home town Meeanee maulers so it will be a tough one.

Back into teams racing for the Gladiators next weekend.
Peter Barry teams is a bloody brutal weekend of racing and we can’t wait to be apart of it again with a great bunch of lads 👍🏼

Last night racing in palmy was one to forget… coming under some attention and having a car on the bonnet was all apart of it.
