A few of our members honouring our Life Member, Don Thompson, who recently celebrated his 91st birthday. Manawatu Petanque decided to place a plaque at his favourite piste, no. 9, as this is the piste he always chose to play on when he won the toss. Don was unable to attend the occasion due to being unwell at the time.
