Our U18 teams had their first round of games last weekend, showing some good results.

Sunday vs Waikato
🔵 Auckland Blue Girls – 1–0 win
🔵 Auckland Blue Boys – 6–1 win

Monday vs Counties Manukau
⚪ Auckland White Girls – 1–1 draw

A great start as the teams build towards Nationals in July.

16 Representative Programme — 2026

Registrations are now open for our U16 programme!

The U16 programme is open to all players in Year 9, 10, 11 or 12. If your child is in one of these school years, they can trial.

Every player finishes the season at one of two tournaments:

U16 National Championships — players born 2010 or 2011. Auckland Hockey selects one team per gender for Nationals, per Hockey New Zealand eligibility rules.

U16 Northern Region Tournament — all other players in the programme, including Year 9s born 2012.

Trials — all held at LEP

Ahead of the 2026 FIH Hockey Nations Cup, a selection of athletes from across the country including Auckland Representative's Rebecca Baker, Ruby Baker, Bre Catley, Kaea Elliott, Grace O'Hanlon, Maddie Harris, Liz Thompson and Rose Tynan have been named to play a practice match against Chile.

This will take place at North Harbour National Hockey Centre on Tuesday 9th June at 7pm on turf 1. Free entry - Head along and catch the action!

Congratulations Roskill Eden Hockey Club Inc. our 2026 Intercity Premier Men's Champions! Roskill Eden defeated Howick Pakuranga 2-1 in a gripping final. Goal scorers for Roskill Eden were Sam Hiha (6th minute) and Liam Lithfield (7th minute), with Vincent O'Connor (34th minute) scoring for Howick Pakuranga.

Thank you to our volunteers and officials for their support throughout the tournament. Today's umpires were Ryan Potter and Tim Bond, with Hamish Ellis-Jack the reserve umpire, John Etherington was Match Manager and Val Thomas Scoring Judge.
