Pakuranga 5km Fun Run and Walk

Pakuranga 5km Fun Run and Walk Pakuranga 5km Fun Run / Walk Held every Monday at 6pm at the Pakuranga athletics clubrooms, Lloyd Elsmore. Entry fee is only $3 for adults and $1 per child.

This Run has been going for a number of years now originally being the Pakuranga Ohagans bar Funrun. This is a fun event for all ages, shapes and sizes, great for families and the more serious runners. All participants receive race numbers, and are officially timed.

Happy New Year Everyone.

Its been a while since the last post so thought I would send an update about the Monday Night Run.

Unfortunately due to our current Covid situation the Monday Night run won't be happening this summer

The intention is to have it up and running towards the end of the year.

We will keep you posted closer to time.

Thanks for all your support, take care and enjoy getting out and about whether it's running/walking either on the road or trails.

Choose whichever distance you want. 5k, 8k or 10km.
This is a no watch event.
Please arrive early to estimate you time and see who gets the closest.

Hey Everyone.
If you can tear yourself away from the Olympics this weekend at the club we are doing a pack run on the road courses. There are 3 road courses 10km, 8km and 5km.
3pm start.
Good luck to those athletes heading to Dunedin for the NZ XC champs.

Hey Everyone
This weekend at the club is our Cross Country Champs.
This will be held at 3pm and we will be using the GP Course.
Senior Men 10 k
Senior Women , Under 20 Men, Masters Men 35-69 8 k
Masters Women, Under 20 Women, Masters Men 70+ 6k
Walkers 4k
Prizegiving will be at 4.30pm.

We need a couple of volunteers to do the timekeeping. If you can help out please email me on [email protected].

This weekend is the Auckland Cross Country champs at Barry Curtis Park.

Hey Everyone
This week at the club we will be running on our original cross country course. This includes a log, some bush, a plank and lots of ups and downs.
You have the option of running 8km - 2 laps or 4 km - 1 lap.
The course will be marked and a map available at the club.
Start time is 3pm. Please turn up early to sign in.
