Wow, what a game!!!

Last night our U8's tackle team were able to make up for the game they missed in the weekend due to the rain. What a wonderful evening it was as they took on United Kawakawa. The side line was roaring with supporters and we were super proud of our team.

It was pretty tough picking players of the day because everyone played so well, such an improvement from our first trial game against UK a few months ago.

Well done Jack for your amazing try saving tackles and Oscar who got stuck in and involved in everything. Also Lily-Belle who received special recognition from UK.

Last night our rippa team took on Moerewa. It was Moerewa's first night game and we were super excited to host them at Bledisloe 🙌🙌Awesome mahi from all the tamariki that took to the field. Well done to Luka who was our player of the "night" 👍👍

Our tackle team came along last night for a tackle session. Lots of new skills for them to learn. They will have their very first tackle game after the holidays 🥳🥳 We are super proud of the effort these kids are putting in.

Lastly, a MASSIVE thank you to Laine, Vinnie and the team at the Pizza Shack for providing an awesome spread 🍕 🍕 🍕 for the after match kai. You guys are awesome and they were very much appreciated 🫶🫶

Yesterday we were stoked that the rain held off for both our teams to be able to take to the field. We went up against Kerikeri and Kaikohe. Well done to Aurelia and Koa who were our players of the day!

No training or games this coming week. We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend with their whānau. Mānawatia a Matariki!

On Friday night our Red team played under the lights in Ohaeawai. It was a bit chilly 🥶 out there on the field but they gave it there all and warmed up with some pizza after the game. Well done to Ezzie who got player of the "night"

Saturday morning was a beauty of a day ☀️ for some more footy 🏉 as our Blue team played in Kawakawa. Awesome mahi from Zoe who took away player of the day.

Thank you to Kawakawa who let our kids join in on their tackle session and then let them have a go in a tackle game 🙌 It was their first time and we were super proud of those who gave it a go 😊

Was awesome to play at home again this weekend alongside Paihia Football. Great to see Bledisloe Domain in full swing.

Paihia Red celebrated Braxton as their play of the day. They were super proud of his courage to jump on the field and give it a go.

Paihia Blue saw Jack B get their player of the day. Jack always gives it 110% when he takes to the field.

Well done to all our players and thanks again to those who support on the sideline.

Late post.... Awesome effort from both our teams on Saturday. Paihia Blue played in Ohaeawai and Paihia Red in Kerikeri. Congrats Gus and Reo who took away players of the day.

Was great to kick off the season at home this weekend. Paihia Blue took on Ohaeawai Red and Paihia Red took on Keri Red. Congrats to both our players of the day, Matilda and Phoenix. The kids looked awesome in our new shirts, sponsored by James and Des from Haruru Auto & Diesel.
