๐ Together We Play ๐
Today we enjoyed some fun, messy and sensory-filled play! We didnโt get much time to snap many photos ๐ธ๐ซงโจ
All of our sensory play today was made using taste-safe ingredients, so if youโd like the recipe, send us a message and weโre happy to share it! ๐
The kids loved getting stuck into the messy play, along with lots of jumping, crashing and climbing on the big crash pads, riding around on the balance bikes, and enjoying some quieter time with puzzles and other activities. ๐ฒ๐งฉ
At Together We Play, we aim to provide a range of activities for every child to enjoy, while also creating opportunities to develop important skills through play, including:
๐ฑ Gross motor skills โ jumping, climbing, balancing, crashing and moving their bodies
๐ง Fine motor skills โ puzzles, sensory play and hands-on activities
๐ Hand-eye coordination โ balancing, riding and manipulating different objects
๐ฃ๏ธ Communication & language โ interacting, expressing needs and engaging with others
๐ค Social skills โ sharing spaces, playing alongside others and building connections
๐ญ Problem-solving & cognitive skills โ puzzles, exploring and figuring things out
๐จ Creativity & imagination โ open-ended sensory and creative play
โค๏ธ Emotional regulation โ opportunities for movement, sensory input and quiet spaces
๐ Sensory processing โ exploring different textures, movements, sounds and experiences
๐ง Body awareness & coordination โ helping children understand how their bodies move and respond to their environment
Most importantly, there is no right or wrong way to play. ๐
Whether your child wants to get completely covered in messy play, zoom around on a balance bike, crash into the cushions, quietly complete a puzzle, or simply observe and take everything in โ they are welcome here.
Together We Play is about creating a space where children can play, explore, connect and learn in a way that works for them. ๐๐
Thank you to everyone who joined us today! We loved seeing all those happy, messy faces. ๐ฅฐ
