All 2025-26 athletes are invited to attend the end of season prizegiving - and everyone walks the stage and takes home a certificate!

Charge your cameras, wear club uniform (singlet and shorts) and bring your biggest smiles this Wednesday at 5.45pm, Paeroa College Hall.

🎽Athletes should wear their correct uniform and arrive by 5.45pm for a whole club photo.

🏅 Athletes that attended Colgate Games and Waikato Champs and received medals, please bring them along.

Well that’s a wrap, folks!

Our 2025/26 season has come to a close, and what a season it was!

💪 Reaching new heights as individuals and as a club

Last night we also said farewell to Eli Crawford, who for the past four years has been our race starter at club nights, ribbon days, and other events at the domain.

Eli’s calm, relaxed nature, his connection with young people, and his genuine passion for encouraging others made him a valued presence at the start line. He’ll be missed, but as is the PAAC way, he’s never far away. Knowing Eli, we’re sure we’ll see him back lending a hand from time to time. Thanks for everything, Eli. We hope to see you and the Crawford whānau trackside again soon! ❤️🖤

🏆 Prizegiving is set for April 1st, 5:45pm at the Paeroa College Hall. Come along and help us celebrate the achievements of our amazing athletes!

🥇 Athletes are still earning points for each event they participate in, it’s not always the fastest or the strongest that comes out on top - steady performance can win the race!

ATTENTION: Waikato Champs athletes & parents

You may have noticed the published event rules state athletes may only enter 4 events (with a max of 3 track or 3 field). It came to our attention that some athletes have successfully entered 5 events.

WaiBop have acknowledged this error in the rules and are allowing athletes to enter a 5th event.

If you would like to add an event to your athlete's entry, please email David at [email protected] and he will add your entry and arrange payment.

If you are happy to keep their entry the same, please email David to confirm.

If you have forgotten what they are entered in, let us know as we have a confirmed list we can work from.

Many thanks to all the athletes and families that participated in today’s Kevin Sharp Memorial Paeroa Ribbon Day! 🏅

The sun was shining and so were our stunning athletes - so much great action in the Domain today! 🏃

Our feature event, the Kevin Sharp Memorial Race, was everything we’d hoped for. There was camaraderie, competition, and even some laughs in between the puffing 😮‍💨
It was truely touching to welcome back past athletes, each of them reflecting and acknowledging the impact Kevin had on them as young athletes. Especially lovely to have Bev Sharp in attendance as we marked this special event.

And final thanks goes to all our club committee members and volunteers that marshalled, raked, measured, cooked, bbq’d, judged, provided lunch food, and helped to make the day such a success. We couldn’t do this without the generosity of our volunteers, so thank you!

The 2026 Athletics Waikato Bay of Plenty Children’s Track & Field Championships are nearly here.

All entries must be submitted by midnight, Friday 6 March.

There are no late entries at championship level — if it’s not in by the deadline, your child won’t be on the start line.
