It is with great sadness that we share the details of Daniel Doyle's farewell.

Dan's funeral service will be held on Friday 4th September at 11:00am at Coastal Rugby Club in Taranaki.

Dan will return to Otorohanga Sports Club this afternoon at 5pm, where he will remain until Wednesday morning, before making his final journey south to Taranaki.

Our clubhouse will be open for those who would like to come and spend some time with Dan, pay their respects, or simply be together as a club community during this difficult time.

Our thoughts continue to be with Dan's family, friends, teammates, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Otorohanga Sports Club is deeply saddened by the passing of Daniel Doyle.

Dan has been a valued part of our rugby community.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Dan’s family, friends and the coastal community during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts are also with his teammates, past and present, and everyone within our rugby community who knew and loved Dan.

Dan will be sadly missed around the club and by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

For those who would like to come together, we will gather at the Otorohanga Sports Club tomorrow, Sunday 30th, from 11am to remember Dan and support one another.

Our thoughts are with the Doyle whānau.

A massive congratulations to our Oto ladies who have been named in the Waikato FPC squad — awesome achievement and well deserved!
