Congratulations to club member James Black of Dunedin who won the Rookie Of The Year title in the 2025/2026 Nexen Tyre Mazda Racing Super Series. James also finished fourth overall in the point standings and along with Bryan Walker of Christchurch and Callum Pratt of Auckland also won the Teams title.

Race week for club member Nieko Scoles after an impressive opening round of the 2026 Toyota 86 Trophy Series. Nieko was the overall round winner at the opener.

After a couple of really positive test days up here, I’m feeling comfortable in the car and can’t wait to get stuck into another weekend of racing. Hopefully we can keep the momentum going and extend our lead in the Trophy Series championship.
