Details for the next pole clinic.
For those not been before these clinics use poles in various patterns to work on bend, straightness, transitions etc while giving tips to riders to achieve these with thier horse.
This will be the last clinic for the year, my brother is getting married overseas in November and some big changes happening in December meaning no free weekends. The schooling and lessons will still be happening right through. Comment here or PM answering the questions on the flyer and you'll be added to a group chat for the clinic

What a great weekend had at the latest Kapiti clinic.
Pole dancing, jumping, learning and most importantly fun!

for help with setup/changes.

Two weeks away will do groups next weekend.
Have space in a jumping 1.05M+ group on Sunday.
Will also take 1 or 2 more for pole groups either day

Darcy having a jump in the paddock today.
Kept it little and fun he's only done that 1 jump in arena up till now after a large break.
He was a bit keen but nice to be jumping.
Fingers crossed the forecast is wrong and it's not going to rain all next week again, now paddock starting to dry enough.

Thanks to Ruth for use of her facilities and all who took part. Helping and supporting each other making a fun weekend for all.

🐴 Kapiti Equine Education – Pole Clinic 🐴

Join us for a fun and educational Pole Clinic on 1st & 2nd August at 218 Pukenamu Road.

Whether you're looking to improve your flatwork, dressage, jumping, or simply develop a better partnership with your horse, these sessions are designed to suit all levels.

Group or Private Lessons Available

Using a variety of pole patterns and exercises, we'll work on:
• Bend and straightness
• Suppleness and balance
• Rhythm and transitions
• Accuracy and rider position
• Confidence and communication between horse and rider

These exercises are tailored to both horse and rider, helping you build stronger foundations while keeping training engaging and enjoyable.

• Private Lesson – $60

Te Marua riding club lessons Saturday 25 July

Jump lessons at the club grounds
All levels catered for poles+ can even do flat round the jumps

Private or group (maximum of 3), lessons available.

$65 Private $50 group plus $10 arena fee for non members to cover insurance.

Message myself or Demelza Leslie with:

height you're working at so can group similar levels
And any time restraints

Lessons are payable in advance to the club account. A 50% fee will apply for less than 24hr scratching.

ISO 2 different horses for clients.
Both homes always have the horses best interest at heart.

Firstly, happy hacker fun type. Not interested in any schooling or competing.
But must be good to hack out in group or on own. Must be good down the road.

This lady can ride! But unfortunately has been sold an inappropriate horse so needs something to give her a confidence boost, but not going to be boring once going.

16-16.1hh, don't mind breed or age but still have a few years in it.

Will occasionally be left with minis when paddock mate goes out. Needs to be ok with this and not attached to 1 horse.

Low green budget but wonderful home offered with some great hacking.

Wellington, Horowhenua, Manawatu area will be wanting to try couple times with potentially 1 off property
