To start the series...I thought we'd start in a safe space, but still a challenging space, no better place then FOXTON

First race - "The Grind"
Venue - Foxton Loop
Start - 9am
It's up to you to be ready for briefing at 8.30am, if you rock up late, just jump in.

Do you own a V1 or OC1 and keen to get your individual game up during the winter season??

Do you have a long term waka goal, like Hawaii 2024? Then you need to pick your balls up and get on the singles!!! Strong paddling foundations are made in the winter, and strong individual waka recognition is made on a single, not hiding on a 6...so here's your chance to step the f**k up🤌

Here you'll find all the series updates about the up and coming ŌWH in-house single craft races.

Weather dependant we have 3 possible venues
- Foxton Loop
- Raumati Beach and
- Ngāti Toa domain, Porirua
(Venue to be decided 2 days prior to race)

The following are a MUST to race
- safety equipment (listed in a separate post)
- your own craft
- strong swimming ability and knowledge and understanding of how to upright your craft if you are kicked off
- a positive yet no f**k around attitude 😉
- the willingness to learn, grow and support those around you.
$5 entry fee

You must understand we are not there to teach or coach, we will be in race mode so if you are lacking experience on a v1 or oc1 I'd advice you to stay on the lake and put the hours in there first

First event is this coming Saturday 27th May - 9am start
