They are regularly coming to our area with their Kapiti lessons being held at:
Gorge River Equestrian, 141 Otaki Gorge Rd.

45 min Individual lessons - $105
1 hr shared (2 riders only) - $90 each
Arena fee - $15 per horse.

Attention all riders and retired riders, a PhD student at Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia, is researching the sleep and mental health of current and retired athletes.
The first phase of the PhD project is distributing a widespread, online survey to currently competing and former athletes. The survey is completely anonymous and should take no longer than 10 – 15 minutes. This project will be the first of its kind, combining validated questionnaires on sleep and mental health to assess the prevalence and severity of disorders in these populations. They are specifically recruiting all male and female adult athletes (18 years +) from all sports to complete the survey. They are interested in athletes who compete/have competed at all levels, from amateur, semi-professional, university/college, and elite/professional athletes.
The survey will be open until May 2022.

School Holiday Program
19th - 22nd July
Only one holiday program this time.
Due to demand and XC/SJ element, it will again, be aimed at the more confident rider.
Day 1. Dressage: arena craft, bio mechanics, In-hand Showing (how to develop expression and obedience whist trotting out). Rules and etiquette.
Day 2. Show jumping: walking courses, training exercises, Off horse fitness and strength. rules and etiquette.
Day 3. XC : this will be offsite again.
Day 4: feeding, bandaging, clipping and Turnout (sewing plaits, tails, make up for horses, trimming etc).

The days you do are optional, you can do 1 or all 4 days but must book in advance.

Days are 9am - 2pm
Kids are welcome to stay longer if needed.
Gear list and information is sent out with bookings
Cost $70 incl per day (additional ground fee of $20 for XC day only)

5 months ago Paris was lucky enough to be given the ride on Tipsey LS. She is one incredible pony, going from jumping 1.15m one weekend to winning SH the following weekend and then pulling off a casual 3rd at CNC80. A big thank you to Gina Roberts for being the best owner and giving Paris this opportunity.
Today Tipsey left for her new owner Leah and although we are going to miss Tips a lot, she is in the best hands and I know they will do great things together. I'm looking forward to seeing you at shows and giving Tipsey treats ###

Holiday Riding Program Summer 2021!!!!
Finally Dates!!
Sorry for the delay, we have been waiting for other dates to be decided on before setting ours.
Mon 4th - Thur 7th Jan
Mon 11th - Thur 14th

Due to demand, both camps will be aimed at the more confident rider. we will be working on dressage (arena craft, bio mechanics etc), Show jumping and going out to XC and stable management. Although this is for the more serious rider it will be full of games and fun activities like archery and horse swimming.
Numbers are strictly limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Days are 9am - 3pm
Ponies sleep over

Horse borrow $50 (very limited)
