Hey team - due to popular demand (and the answer "why not?") we have now added virtual 5k and 2k options to Run Orewa (and will add them to the other NSRS events too). So if you cannot make the race, you can still earn that beautiful medal. Just follow the instructions at https://runningevents.co.nz/virtual. Onya!

Running Events own and produce the Auckland Half Marathon Series, the North Shore Run Series, the Corporate Challenge Series and the Tauranga Marathon. Combined, these add up to thirteen events each year attracting over 20,000 entrants.

Run Orewa will be treating you to some R-Line Electrolyte Drink on the running course this year. They will be providing plenty of endurance drink on race day throughout the event to help keep you hydrated, energized and balanced. Gear up and make sure you are prepared for your run. You can grab R-Line’s Starter Pack right now which contains a bottle of concentrate and a couple of cool freebies! Course product usually consists of lemon and lime and blueberry, and with any of their other 7 flavours occasionally featuring to add variety at some checkpoints.
